The best way to help your pet is to bring them in for an exam. We can then provide options on diagnostic and treatment plans.
-
I have a new puppy/kitten. What are my next steps for its healthcare?
Start with a wellness exam at six weeks. During this exam, we screen for parasites, administer the first vaccines and perform a physical exam. At this appointment, we will schedule the reoccurring appointments for care.
-
When should I have my new pet spayed or neutered?
Depending on its age and breed, we recommend a wellness visit to assess the best time for a spay or neuter. We typically recommended between 6-12 months.
-
What do you recommend for parasite prevention?
We recommend all dogs stay on heartworm prevention year-round. Flea and tick can be administered during warmer months, but we recommend year-round to be safe.
